Abi Harrington is a painter and animal photographer living on the Mornington Peninsula. After her last exhibition at Merricks House Art Gallery in 2013, two of her images from the “Beautiful Bovines Exhibition” were chosen by a New York art organisation to appear in their exhibition where gigantic images were projected on the outside of Time Square buildings for 24 hours.
Following on from that success Abi returns to Merricks House Art Gallery on the 10th October 2015 with her latest collection of images entitled “Feathers and Fur”.
A colourful collection of animal portraits showcasing Mornington Peninsula’s finest cattle and some acrylic paintings of Australian Native and Non-Native Birds.
Expect to see more beautiful Highland and Jersey cows and some stunning acrylic on canvas paintings which include a cheeky Galah, a Red Tailed Black Cockatoo and a Major Mitchell called Kylie.
