2017 was marked by a wet and cold flowering period resulting in tiny crops. The harvest itself was relatively late compared to preceding vintages, so picking was during the very mild and sunny autumn. The berries show intense perfume and great flavour which has produced exceptional balanced wines.
Whole bunch pressed and settled overnight. Clear juice was fermented in stainless steel tank at low temperature to retain the fresh fruit purity of the grapes. Once completely dry, the wine was stabilised and bottled in late June.
