VINTAGE

A perfect late Spring and early Summer resulted in the best flowering and fruit set we have seen for many years. It was followed by a dry & mild ripening period. The berries show intense perfume & great flavour which has produced exceptionally balanced wines.

WINEMAKING

The cordons were cut on 2nd April, the fruit was left to dry & concentrate on the vine until 2nd May. Fermentation occurred over 4 months. The wine then spent 12 months in old oak barriques before being bottled in June 2019.
