After a labelling machine malfunction, we have some 2018 Elgee Park Chardonnay that has damaged labels. The wine is perfect, it’s just the labels that aren’t.
A superb chardonnay showing aromas of white nectarine and honey. The middle palate is soft with an overlay of honey, nuts and lemon crème brûlée. Matured in French oak for 11 months adds texture and complexity to this exceptionally balanced, outstanding chardonnay.
Note: The product image is an example of the extent of the damage to the labels, please note some labels are not as damaged as the image while other labels are more damaged.

Intensely perfumed nectarine with a hint of honey.
Balanced stone fruit with nuts, fresh citrus & creamed honey. Matured in French oak for 11 months, adding texture and complexity.
A perfect late Spring and early Summer resulted in the best flowering and fruit set we have seen for many years. It was followed by a dry and mild ripening period. The berries show intense perfume and great flavour which has produced exceptionally balanced wines.
The fruit was perfectly ripe, following careful handpicking, the grapes were delivered to the winery, destemmed, and whole bunch pressed. Racked to barrel for a wild yeast fermentation in French oak with regular lees stirring. Partial malolactic fermentation was completed in spring. The wine had 11 months in French oak barriques.
