Once picked it develops ripe pear and almond flavours. Fermented in old barrels with some less stirring complements the richness of the fruit. Poached pear and a soft nuttiness fold into full palate. A beautifully balanced wine with maximum fruit weight, it’s freshness remains all the way to the crisp dry finish.

Budburst was early this year which resulted in flowering with good fruit set. The warm ripening period saw harvest commence a week sooner than normal. Yields were reported as high – average with fine acidity retention and excellent balanced flavours.
