VINTAGE

A perfect late Spring and early Summer resulted in the best flowering and fruit set we have seen for many years. It was followed by a dry and mild ripening period. The berries show intense perfume and great flavour which has produced exceptionally balanced wines.

WINEMAKING

The small crop of Riesling was de-stemmed, crushed, drained pressed and settled. The free run juice was then cool fermented in stainless steel tank. This slow, cool ferment preserved the absolute fruit purity evident in the grapes, and after blending and filtering, the wine was bottled in late June to retain the freshness and aromatics of the fruit.
