Apricot & spice characters blend into creaminess on the textured palate.
VINTAGE
A perfect late Spring and early Summer resulted in the best flowering and fruit set we have seen for many years. It was followed by a dry and mild ripening period. The berries show intense perfume and great flavour which has produced exceptionally balanced wines.
WINEMAKING
The small crop was whole-bunch pressed, settled overnight. Half the juice was fermented in stainless steel to maximise this pristine fruitiness, whilst half was fermented in old barrels with several months of lees stirring to add an element of creaminess and textural complexity to the wine.
