An excellent Chardonnay from a low yielding but intense vintage. Vibrant aromas of nectarine & grapefruit with balanced vanilla oak notes. A beautiful palate of stone fruits & citrus with a clean minerality. The seamless oak integration shows fine texture & complexity.

Ocean Eight ‘Verve’ Chardonnay 2020

Bright, citrussy & with white stone fruit before a flinty element arrives. Elegantly textural from barrel ferment & time on lees, no new oak was used & a line of acidity remains intact from front to back.

Handpicked ‘Capella’ Chardonnay 2019

Complex & like Chablis. Stonefruits, toasty hazelnut elements & flinty characters shine on the nose & palate. An exciting wine, drinking excellently.
