PALATE

Aromas on the nose are present on the palate – raspberry, strawberry, earthy nuances too. Flavours are balanced beautifully with mouth-watering acid & just the right amount of tannin.

VINTAGE

A perfect late Spring and early Summer resulted in the best flowering and fruit set we have seen for many years. It was followed by a dry and mild ripening period. The berries show intense perfume and great flavour which has produced exceptionally balanced wines.

WINEMAKING

50% destemmed, 50% whole bunch. 3 weeks on skins. 12 months in barrel (25% new French oak). The wine was then blended, it spent 2 months in tank before bottling in August 2019.
