PALATE

A polished, silky wine full of complexity. An excellent balance of rich fruit characters discovered in the aromatics & French oak integration.

VINTAGE

Budburst was early this year which resulted in flowering with good fruit set. The warm ripening period saw harvest commence a week sooner than normal. Yields were reported as high – average with fine acidity retention and excellent balanced flavours.

WINEMAKING

100% whole bunch. 7 days Carbonic Maceration.  50% new French oak. The wine went through natural malolactic fermentation in barrique and was racked after 9 months, lightly filtered & then bottled.
