A juicy palate of luscious cherry & blueberry fruit. It’s a pure rosé, fine in texture, & finishes bone dry.
Average rainfall through winter maintained good soil moisture. We experienced some cold fronts through spring which were detrimental during flowering. As a result, yields were lower than average. However, we had some warm weather through summer resulting in incredibly concentrated and powerful wines with great acidity.
Three quarters of the juice was tank fermented at low temperatures, which allowed the aromas & fresh fruit flavours to develop. The remaining 25% juice was barrel fermented with wild yeast, which adds texture & complexity.
