A minimal intervention, delicate & boutique Pinot Noir by winemaker, Tim Elphick. After starting Stilvi in 2020 this is Tim’s first Pinot Noir. With interesting winemaking techniques which include a small amount of carbonic maceration & the use of a terracotta egg this wine is a total delight to drink.

PALATE
Delicate cherry forest floor & rose petals on the palate are supported by silky tannins & a hint of toasty-ness. Lovely fresh acidity to finish. Unfined & unfiltered.
VINTAGE
Rain events did create moderate disease pressure during the growing season but were often followed by prolonged periods of mild & dry weather so there was little disease occurrence. Temperatures were generally moderate with higher-than-average low temperatures but no hot weather & certainly no heat waves.
