You’re invited to the inaugural Merricks House Collective series – Paper & Pencil, an afternoon with Miodrag Jankovic, 40 years in the making, at the Merricks House Gallery. The first of a series of talks & artistic workshops, that combines art, conversation, fine food & wine into an afternoon designed to nurture your creative side.

Miodrag Jankovic was born in Serbia in 1958, he migrated to Australia in the 70’s, & has been practicing art for the past 40 years. Now based on the Mornington Peninsula, Jankovic draws inspiration from his surroundings. His latest exhibition, Luminist, captures the interaction between light & cloud, as they dance across the sky.

During the afternoon Jankovic will share his story in a Q&A styled conversation giving the audience insight into his creative mind and spirit whilst enabling a greater context to the inspiration behind his latest collection Luminist.

Participants will be given paper & pencil at the beginning of the afternoon in the spirit of play. There will be props to ignite your creative spark & sketch….
