A superb Chardonnay from the original home block planted in 1985. This block always produces our most age-worthy Chardonnays and this wine is very much true to form. Hints of white peach and white nectarine on the bouquet that is supported on the palate by 20% new French oak and partial malolactic fermentation to deliver a wine that although drinking well currently, will continue to improve over the next several years – very much a food wine.
