Phaedrus Fiano 2024

Fiano is a white grape grown in southern Italy (Campagna region) and also on the island of Sicily.  When grown in a cool climate like the Mornington Peninsula the vines have plenty of time to develop intense lemon curd and spice flavours in the grapes.

The 2024 was picked, whole bunch pressed and  clarified before undergoing a cool natural-yeast fermentation in tank. Then it is simply filtered and bottled within 3 months of harvest. This was the seventh  year we have made Fiano.

The wine has intense lemon, grapefruit and spice aromas. A lively, zesty palate is counterbalanced by a little lusciousness from the natural ferment. Great intensity and length.….try it for yourself!
