The 2023 Main Ridge Reserve Chardonnay is impressively bright, with lime, grapefruit, oyster shell and struck match characters on the nose. Very youthful, the palate is tight and powerful, with flinty minerality, grapefruit and grilled nuts, complemented by savoury, creamy oak and a long finish. This will age well over the next 15 years.
