VINTAGE
The 2025 vintage was nearly ideal: after a mild, well‑watered winter, spring brought uniform budburst and fruit set. Summer warmed up nicely with minimal rain, helping berries ripen fully while retaining acidity. Veraison kicked in early, and although harvest began mid‑February, a cooler spell in March stretched things out just enough. Yields returned to long‑term averages, particularly strong for Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Across the board, the region delivered wines with balance, purity and excellent flavour development.
WINEMAKING
The grapes were hand-harvested at ideal ripeness for generous fruit flavour, but still with delicate structure. The fruit was whole bunch pressed very gradually to extract a beautiful pale red juice with low tannin, settled overnight, and the clear juice was fermented cool in stainless steel tanks. The wine was clarified and bottled in August 2025.
