Elgee Park Chardonnay 2024

Elgee Park is the oldest vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula, originally established as the country retreat of Baillieu and Sarah Myer and their family. In 1972, the first vines were planted on the property, setting the foundation for a legacy of fine winemaking.

Today, small parcels of grapes—nurtured by cool nights and warm summers—produce wines of remarkable finesse, depth, and balance.

Rich aromas of honeysuckle, lemon pith, nectarine, and vanilla custard lead into a complex, balanced palate of citrus, white peach, and nectarine, layered with toasty, nutty oak and subtle buttery notes. Whole bunch pressed and wild fermented in French oak with regular lees stirring, the wine underwent full malolactic fermentation and spent 10 months in barrel, softening the acidity and enhancing texture.

Paringa Estate ‘The Paringa’ Chardonnay 2023

Paringa Estate is one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most acclaimed wineries, renowned for producing award-winning Pinot Noir, Shiraz, and Chardonnay from its steep, north-facing vineyard in Red Hill. Its unique site, combined with meticulous vineyard management and winemaking precision, consistently delivers wines of exceptional depth, elegance, and regional expression.

2023 has produced a wine of immense power and impeccable balance. Flinty barrel ferment aromas mingle with notes of meyer lemon and white flowers. There’s stone fruit and citrus on the palate, edged with racy acidity. It’s opulent with a very long, elegant finish.

Elanto Vineyard Chardonnay 2023

Elanto Vineyard is one of Australia’s most ambitious wine projects, featuring ultra high-density plantings (over 11,000 vines per hectare) to produce intensely concentrated, site-expressive fruit. Set on a southeast-facing slope in Balnarring with volcanic soils and cool maritime influences, it delivers exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir crafted with meticulous precision and vision.

This wine is a blend of the 3 Chardonnay vineyards (lieu-dits); Verge, Buckshot and Seawinds.

This inaugural release from Elanto Vineyard is undeniably striking—showcasing a masterful blend of floral, citrus, mineral, and nutted oak layers. The wine balances richness with restraint, offering silky texture and persuasive depth, underpinned by laser-like acidity and a lingering, complex finish. With consistent praise across critics—Halliday, The Real Review, Winefront—and accolades like 95–96 points, it’s already marked as a standout new release.
